Nails – copper

For a classic look

Copper nails have been used for centuries to attach natural slate. The material is soft and easily moulds itself to the hole in the porous natural slate. Over time, the nail seals the hole even better, because a layer of corrosion forms around the copper nail. At the same time, this layer ensures that the copper doesn’t corrode further. For a truly authentic look, we also produce square copper nails, just like in the old days!
